You might want to pre-order the Xbox One X after seeing the new Project Scorpio edition

Microsoft was the sole star of Gamescom when it came to announcements, and between all of the new trailers and information about upcoming exclusives one announcement shone the brightest: The new Project Scorpio edition of the Xbox One X console.

You might be as confused as we are in here, wasn’t Project Scorpio the code name for Xbox One X before it was called Xbox One X? That’s right, and we have no idea what’s going on at Microsoft’s naming department, but what’s important is that this limited pre-order edition looks too good to ignore.

Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition comes in a stylish design alongside a free limited edition stand and a controller both of similar coloring and look, and it also includes free 14 days trial of Xbox Live Gold and a full month of Xbox Game Pass games-renting service. Then there’s your usual cables found in the regular Xbox One S.

You can watch the official announcement trailer down below. Xbox One X pre-order runs you the same as the price of the console post-launch, which is $500. You can now place your order over at Amazon, GAME or Microsoft itself. The company mentioned that the Xbox One X will release with over 100 titles receiving enhancements for the 4K monster from the original Xbox One library.

In other news, Microsoft revealed Crackdown 3 release date being pushed to 2018, Sea of Thieves having PC+Xbox crossplay, and some new features for Xbox One X version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds.
